Switching Religion Study

A study came out the other day from USAtoday that in the United States that people in America tend to switch religions quite a bit at one time or another.

One reason was stated - Many people who left a religion and now are "unaffiliated" say they did so in part because they see religious people as hypocritical or judgmental, because religious organizations focus too much on rules, or because religious leaders focus too much on power and money.

While there are other reasons as well, this is a truly compelling one as it goes against what Jesus gave as an Himself being an example. Many in the church have lost sight that it is our call to bring people to Jesus, not to push them away.

All will be accountable in the end and if we lead any astray, we must face God for it.
